Chelsea Handler opens up about after 2 abortions at the age of 16
In June 2016 the article about the Playboy magazine, Talk Show host Chelsea Handler opens up about having two abortions at the age of 16.
“When I got pregnant at the age of 16, access to abortion was not the first idea that popped up in the immature brain” Chandler writes. “It was in the case of a very bad phase of my life. I hated my father and I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend who shouldn’t have had sex with in the first place, let alone unprotected sex. I wasn’t really playing with a full deck of cards, and when I got pregnant I thought why not? I can have a child. Might be twins and give them rhyming names!”
After the treatment, her parents decided it was too small in the upbringing of the child at this age, they all went to the family, as was abortion. “I felt parented, ironically while it was getting an abortion. And when it ended I felt satisfied in every possible way,” he wrote.
Wizard said I had a second abortion later this year after getting pregnant with her boyfriend again. “I didn’t have the money for the second time. I had to scrape together $ 230 to pay for family planning, but it was a safe abortion,” she writes. “Accidentally getting the case most of the time irresponsible, but it is still necessary to make an informed decision.”
“We all make mistakes all the time,” The Wizard added. “I just happened to*** twice at the age of 16. I am grateful that I came to my senses and was able to get an abortion legally without risking your health or the bankruptcy of myself or my family. I am now 41. Don’t look back and think, God, I wish I had this baby.”
Wizard—from account of a landmark Supreme Court case Roe v. Wade in order to allow him “to live my life without an unplanned child born of an unhealthy relationship,”—wrote an article in response to states passing laws that limit women’s access to abortion clinics. “It’s unfortunate to hear politicians make promises and fake about to overturn this government to protect us for more than 40 years” to write. “It’s a pity to hear them pander to the Christian right with promises they have no chance of catching…and it’s even more infuriating to see the politicians find ways to subvert Roe v. Wade and the passage of fewer laws that close clinics or restricting abortion for women.”
“It’s okay if you think that it is not a woman’s right to abortion—but it’s not a problem because we decide,” she concludes.
Just days after her article published by Playboy magazine, The Supreme Court overturned the regulations in the state of Texas that would significantly reduce the number of abortion clinics in the state.
